The Elephant's Foot, aka. Mellanting (2023)

Shown at the 15th Westerwald Prize Ceramics of Europe, New Talent Prize, Keramikmuseum Westerwald, Germany (September 2024 - June 2025)

Selected from 627 anonymized entrants, the exhibition presented ninety works by 74 artists — I was the youngest artist featured in the show. 

We, the members  of the jury, must congratulate ourselves on the high caliber of works submitted by the students, altogether seventy-two by forty-seven artists. They would not have been out of place at all had they competed in the general ceramics category. This is proof that ceramics has a bright future with new individuals, new aspirations, renewed language and many surprises and joys to discover. Long live ceramics!!!
